Artitude Exhibits At University Of St. Francis

Art is in the air at the University of St. Francis with the latest exhibit at the University Gallery, 25 East Van Buren, Joliet. Artitude consists of artists of various mediums coming together to share their view of the world.

Artitude will be on exhibit until August 17th. A reception that is free and open to the public is on Saturday, July 21st, 6-8 p.m. The Gallery is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The community of artists that comprise artitude are Mixed Media artist Mary N. Carnahan from Lockport, Lisa Ebel, a writer and story teller from Orland Park, Barbara Eberhard from Joliet who works in Gum Bichromate a photographic printing process from the 1880’s, the artist Mary T. Ehrler from Lockport with her paintings, ceramic artist Joe Hadamik from Joliet, Robert Ryan, painter and muralist from Lockport and Michael Veltman, photographer, from Lockport.
