Bel-Air Motel Wall Destroyed As Man Beats Girlfriend: Police
Joliet Police hauled Timothy Beck away in handcuffs on Plainfield Road.

JOLIET, IL - A 33-year-old man who was staying at the Bel-Air Motel punched a hole through a bathroom wall during an explosive outburst of anger during a domestic violence episode on Tuesday morning, Joliet Police reports show. Officers arrested Timothy Beck and charged him with aggravated domestic battery as well as criminal damage to property.
Joliet Police cars raced out to 1103 Plainfield Road around 7 a.m. after learning of a violent domestic disturbance there.
"Upon arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that she and Beck live together and are in a dating relationship. The victim stated that they were arguing when Beck punched a hole in the bathroom wall and began throwing items at the victim," police reports stated.

The woman tried to get away from Beck, but he refused to do so, police records show..
"Beck pulled her away from the vehicle she was attempting to leave in. The victim then attempted to shut and lock the door to their room, but Beck was able to get in before she could do so. Beck then flipped over a small table, and pushed the victim into it," police said.

Then, the motel room was destroyed as Beck violently attacked his girlfriend, police reports indicate.
"The victim fell on top of the table, striking her back on a corner of the table. Beck then began slapping and hitting (her) in the face multiple times. When the victim tried to get up, Beck grabbed her by the throat, and began choking the victim. Beck then started to slap and hit the victim in the face again," police reports show.
The woman told the Joliet Police officers how she managed to escape the motel room and call 911.
"Officers arrested Beck on scene for the above listed offenses," police reports show.
Will County Jail records show that Beck lives at the Bel-Air Motel. He was supposed to go before a Will County Courthouse judge on Wednesday afternoon to have his bail set.
