Bernard E. Zupancic
Age 77, passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday, April 18, 2024.
He was born at the old St. Joseph’s Hospital in Joliet, on August 10, 1946 to Valerie Ann (nee Wrona) and Louis J. Zupancic.
Survived by his wife Patricia (nee Marino) of 46 years, dear father of Kristopher (Michele) Zupancic, Amanda Zupancic and Cathy Giacomi; and grandfather to Zachary Zupancic.

Bernard served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Preserver ARS-8 from 1968 to 1972 as Storekeeper 2nd class in the Atlantic and Mediterranean, deployment on numerous salvage jobs. After his service, he worked for Nicor Gas as an operator mechanic from 1974 to 2005, retiring after 31 years at the age of 59.
He enjoyed playing pool, especially at Red Shoes Pool Hall in Alsip, Illinois.
