Bobby's Tap Patron Brings Gun Into Bar: Police
Around 7:30 p.m. Joliet police were sent to Bobby's Tap, 1107 Plainfield Road, for a report of a man with a gun at the bar.

JOLIET, IL — A 39-year-0ld Joliet man is now in the Will County Jail in connection with allegations that he illegally brought a concealed a gun inside Bobby's Tap, 1107 Plainfield Road.
On Friday night, Joliet police arrested Shain Katro, who lives in the 300 block of Stone Street, on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of a concealed firearm/licensee ineligible.
Around 7:30 p.m., Joliet police went to Bobby's Tap to investigate a report of a man with a gun.

"Officers learned that a male was seen removing a handgun from his pocket. The male then placed the handgun back into his pocket and exited the bar," police spokesman Dwayne English announced.
English said the Joliet police located a man matching the suspect’s description near Ingalls Avenue and North May Street and identified him as Katro.

After searching Katro, officers recovered a 9 mm handgun, English said. Katro did not possess a concealed carry license, and Katro also had an active no bond Will County warrant for retail theft.
