Brats, Bourbon and Brews Event This Week In Joliet

Brats, Bourbon and Brews takes place Wednesday evening at The Jacob Henry Mansion in Joliet. You can still get your tickets.

JOLIET, IL — If you have not got your tickets yet, there's still time to do so for the fifth annual Brats, Bourbon and Brews event. It's from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at The Jacob Henry Mansion. Tickets are $40.

Tom Grotovsky, owner of The Great American Bagel, is one of the key event organizers. Wednesday's event is supporting the Illinois Rock and Roll Museum in downtown Joliet.

According to the event's website, "Bourbon, Brats & Brews started as a small 'Men’s Night Out' event. Everyone was asked to bring a donation for the local homeless mission and enjoy fine bourbon and beer for a cause. It was such a great time that the event grew the following year to include men and women alike. We are so fortunate as this event grows in popularity, that larger donations are being given to a different local charities such as Cornerstone Services, Easter Seals, and Morning Star Mission."
