Buddy Guy To Play In Joliet's Rialto Square Theater

An influence on rock's biggest names, Buddy Guy is set to play at the Rialto Square Theater.

JOLIET, IL — Blues legend Buddy Guy is coming to Joliet Saturday, set to play a show at the Rialto Square Theater. Chicago bluesman Ronnie Baker Brooks is opening.

Guy is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and influenced some of the world's best guitarists like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan, the theater's website says.

The legend holds 37 Blues Music Awards, more than anybody ever. He's also won seven Grammy awards, a Lifetime Achievement Grammy, a Kennedy Center Honor and tons more. Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time" had Guy ranked at 23rd place.

Tickets cost anywhere from $51 to $239, with two front-row tickets available at the time of publishing.

The show starts at 8 p.m. at the Rialto Square Theater, at 15 E. Van Buren St.
