Burglar On Glenwood Ave. Captured In Garage: JPD
Joliet police arrested the 55-year-old Harry Flowers on charges of burglary and burglary to a motor vehicle.

JOLIET, IL — A 55-year-old Joliet resident is now lodged behind bars at the Will County Jail after Joliet police say Harry Flowers was captured in the midst of burglarizing a home in the 1000 block of Glenwood Avenue.
The incident happened around 8:40 p.m. Monday.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, the following key events led to the arrest of Flowers:

- Officers learned that the homeowner had interrupted a burglary after discovering Flowers inside the Glenwood Avenue's homeowner’s vehicle parked in an open garage.
- It was determined that Flowers was attempting to steal an undetermined amount of change from the vehicle. The homeowner called 911 and held Flowers in the garage until the officers arrived and placed him into custody.
