Chick-fil-A Coming To Old Lone Star Location In Joliet: WJOL
Do you plan to eat at this Chick-fil-A once it opens?

JOLIET, IL — It's been two summers since Joliet area residents were disheartened by news that the Lone Star Steakhouse near the Louis Joliet Mall was closing. The restaurant property in the 2700 block of Plainfield Road has remained empty ever since, and people have wondered what might replace it. The answer is Chick-fil-A, according to a news story published Monday morning on the WJOL website.
WJOL indicated that the plans call for the complete teardown of the existing Lone Star Restaurant, and that it will be replaced by a Chick-fil-A with a double drive-thru window. Joliet's news radio, AM-1340, reported that construction of the Chick-fil-A should begin this summer.
This marks the second huge project near the Louis Joliet Mall during the past year. Last year, Binny's Beverage Depot renovated the former hhgregg building and opened there last October.
