Child, 2, And Man, 25, Shot In Joliet's Forest Park Area
Injuries to both victims are believed to be non-life-threatening, Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said.

JOLIET, IL — Joliet police said a 2-year-old child and a 25-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds Sunday night in the Forest Park area of Joliet's east side. The gunshot wounds were not considered life-threatening, according to police.
No arrests have been made yet.
According to Joliet police, the shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. in the 1200 block of Luther Avenue. As police went to the shooting scene, officers learned that two victims had arrived at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

"The adult was shot in the chest and arm while outside of a vehicle, and the child was shot in the ankle while seated in the vehicle," Joliet police announced.

Joliet police also investigated a shooting on Dover Street that sent a 21-year-old to the hospital.
