Child Endangerment Charges For Joliet Man, 26
A woman met with Joliet police telling them that Eduardo Rodriguez had attacked their 5-year-old daughter, police indicated.

JOLIET, IL — A 26-year-old Plainfield area man faces charges of domestic battery and child endangerment following his arrest by Joliet police on Friday afternoon.
According to police reports, a woman met with officers on Thursday night, indicating that Eduardo Rodriguez attacked her 5-year-old daughter while Rodriguez and the girl were at the McDonald's restaurant at 2885 Plainfield Road.
The child indicated to her mother that Rodriguez had hurt her, police reports show.

The mother picked up the child and brought her to the Joliet Police Department, and officers noted minor visible injuries to the child’s face, police spokesman Dwayne English indicated.
On Friday morning, Rodriguez was placed into custody after coming to the Joliet Police Department to turn himself in.

On Saturday evening, the defendant was released from the Will County Jail after posting 10 percent of his $3,000 bail. Jail records show that Rodriguez lives in the 2700 block of Canyon Drive.
