Classical Blast to Do Museum Rooftop Show
The band, which combines classic rock with classical music, is one of three live music acts being held at the Joliet Area Historical Museum.

The Rooftop Summer Music Series, sponsored by and held at the Joliet Area Historical Museum, resumes this week with Classical Blast, a band that puts a classical music twist to rock music.
Doors open at 6:45 p.m. for Thursday night's show and performers take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $8 for museum members and students with an ID.
Coffee and snacks are served for free and beer, wine and soft drinks available for purchase. In case of inclement weather, shows will be held in the Museum's indoor auditorium.

The museum is located at 204 N. Ottawa St. Free parking is available about a block away at Ottawa and Webster streets.

Soul Motion is here to wash your blues away and put the groove in your feet by tapping the music of the soul, Blues, R&B and Rock & Roll greats. You'll hear classic hits from the likes of James Brown, Joe Cocker, The Impressions, and more recent gems as well - all with the infectious power to get you dancing the night away!
SEPT. 12 – BIG GUITARS FROM MEMPHIS
They aren’t really from Memphis, but their music sounds like it. Big Guitars From Memphis plays a blend of American Music, mixing together rock, blues, country, jazz, and more! “We play some things at breakneck speed,” said John Ivan, lead guitarist in Big Guitars From Memphis. “We keep it going, but we’re relaxed doing it.” An original member of the power pop band Off Broadway, which scored a hit in 1979 with the song “Stay In Time,” Ivan formed Big Guitars From Memphis in 1988 with John Pazdan.
