JOLIET, IL —There was no shooting at the ComEd plant on Briggs Street late Thursday morning, Joliet Police announced in a press release advisory sent to several Chicago area news outlets. At 10:18 a.m. numerous Joliet Police cars responded to the 1900 block of South Briggs Street for an active shooter alarm.
