JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department has obtained a bench warrant to arrest a 29-year-old Chicago man in connection with last month's counterfeit cash incident at the McDonald's restaurant off Houbolt Road near Interstate 80.

Martin Charles Horst Jr. of Chicago's East 116th Street, is being charged in Will County with burglary and forgery. The complaint from Joliet Police Detective Cris Combosi states that on Feb. 20, Horst entered the Joliet McDonald's at 1421 Riverboat Center Drive.

The forgery charge indicates that Horst attempted to defraud one of the women working at the McDonald's by trying to give her "a bogus $100 bill, knowing the document to have been thus made" in violation of Illinois statutes.
