Country Music Lineup Set for Taste of Joliet
Saturday night performers announced for three-day fest.

The Joliet Park District’s Taste of Joliet will return to Joliet Memorial Stadium June 23, 24 and 25 with live music, food and carnival rides.
This year, Billy Currington will headline the event’s Saturday country music lineup on June 24. The CMT Award winner, known for hits like “People are Crazy” and “Must Be Doin’ Something Right,” will perform at 9 p.m. on the main stage.

- 4 p.m. – Stephen Neal
- 5:30 p.m. – Kane Brown
- 7:15 p.m. – A Thousand Horses
Known for attracting music superstars, the Taste set a single-day attendance record for its 2015 country music night. More than 22,000 people turned out to see performers Big & Rich, Parmalee, “The Voice” winner Danielle Bradbery, Joel Crouse and Ruthie Collins.

Other past performers have included Sammy Hagar, Trace Adkins, Styx, Cheap Trick, REO Speedwagon, Little Big Town, Frankie Ballard, Pat Benatar, Eddie Money and Kenny Rogers.
This year’s Taste marks the 11th year since Joliet Park District organizers revived the event back in 2006.
Organizers said they’re working to make the 2017 Taste of Joliet the “highlight of the summer” with 25 food vendors, a carnival, kids zone and headline entertainment.
Performers for Friday, June 23 and Sunday, June 25 have yet to be announced. Tickets for Saturday’s country music lineup are available online at $10 for general admission and $42.50 for front-section access. A $60 carnival mega pass – good for unlimited rides all three days – will soon be available for purchase.
