Daniel Thomas Farley
Of Channahon, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday October 25, 2023. Age 79.
Born in Litchfield, MN., and the son of Thomas and Katherine Farley. On May 15, 1965 he married Beverly Nygaard from MN. They moved to IL. Where Dan joined the Operating Engineers. He worked for them until retirement in 2003.
Survived by his wife Beverly, son Randy (Kristy) Farley, Danny, Mason and Lacie of Channahon. Daughter Theresa (Steve) Dressel and Greg of MN. Great-grandchildren Layla, Aaliyah and Ayden. Also many special nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents Tom and Katherine, his daughter Terri, brothers Jim and Shon. Brothers-in-law Ron Chesson and Jim Nygaard.
Dan is from a family of 14, Mary Chesson, Linda (Dave) Suprenant, Frank (Linda), Tom, Pat (Beverly), Tony (Shirley), Joe (Colleen), Julie, Tim, Laurie (Ed) and Chuck.

Dan loved fishing, hunting, old cars, watching sports and riding motorcycles.
A celebration of life will be held at the Operating Engineers Hall in Joliet at 1050 N. I-55 E. Frontage Rd. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 from 2 to 7.
