David R. Marco
Passed away at Lightways Hospice Home, Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at the age of 69 years. Survived by his brother Brian (Deb) Marco, his nieces and nephews Meghan (Jimmy) Harding, Blaise Grebic, Joe Marco and Riley Marco. Two great-nieces Mackenzie and Grace Harding.
His aunt and uncle Bernie and Millie Marco and many cousins and second-cousins. Preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Lorraine (nee Dolasin) Marco.
David was born on May 18, 1954 in Joliet. A graduate of Providence Catholic High School, Class of 1968 and Lewis University in 1972. David dedicated many years of his life as a paraprofessional at Joliet West High School. He took great pride in the bonds he formed with both the staff and students, leaving an indelible mark on the school community. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and an avid Chicago Sports Fan.

Visitation will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Monday, March 11th from 4:00 P.M. until a celebration of David’s life at 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials in David’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will be appreciated.
