Dennis Miller Joliet Show On Its Way To Selling Out: Rialto

JOLIET, IL - Downtown Joliet's Rialto Square Theatre has been riding a ticket sales for Dennis Miller's 8 p.m. Friday Jan. 12 performance are off to a good start. Rialto officials told Joliet Patch on Monday afternoon that more than 500 tickets have been sold since Friday for the award-winning comedian. Miller starred as the host of Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update" from 1985 until 1991. He later hosted a popular radio show, "Dennis Miller Live." In recent years, Miller was a regular guest on Fox's "The O'Reilly Factor." He has also written several New York Times best-selling books.

Given that Miller's show in Joliet isn't for another three months, "I'm pretty confident that will be a sell out," remarked Jack Ericksen, marketing and development director for the Rialto Square Theatre. The venue sponsor for Miller's Rialto is Northern Insurance Services of Joliet, Ericksen said. The Rialto has tickets priced at $45, $59, $74 and $94. Additional ticket fees may apply.
