Domino's Pizza Opening On Joliet's West Side

JOLIET, IL — Eight months after the owners of Joliet's Giarrante's Barber Shop announced they were relocating from 248 Republic Ave. to a new location on Essington Road, a new Domino's pizza restaurant is coming to Republic Avenue.

The former barbershop building, within walking distance of AMITA Health Saint Joseph's Medical Center, is about to become a takeout and delivery Domino's pizza business.

A sign along Republic Avenue informs motorists that the Domino's is now hiring for various jobs, and the pay will range from $13 to $24 per hour. Domino's has not announced when the new restaurant will open. The advertising sign says "Coming Soon."

According to the Domino's Pizza website, there are six Domino's locations in the immediate Joliet area at the moment:

• 571 Collins St. in Joliet.
• 2405 Caton Farm Road in Crest Hill
• 360 South Weber Road in Romeoville
• 604 East 9th Street in Lockport
• 967 Brook Forest Avenue in Shorewood
• 801 South Ridge Road in Minooka
