Famous Comedian Invades Joliet Tonight
The Rialto will have a packed house for Jim Jefferies.
JOLIET, IL - People from all over Will County and beyond will be driving downtown tonight for one reason: to laugh and laugh a lot. A couple weeks ago, the Rialto Square Theatre welcomed famous comedian Lewis Black. Tonight, at 7:30 p.m., another star is visiting Joliet. This time it's popular Australian comedian Jim Jefferies. The Rialto appearance is part of the Jim Jefferies LIVE Tour, a multi-city standup comedy tour across several cities in the United States.
His television show, The Jim Jefferies Show, premiered on Comedy Central last year.
Rialto officials told Joliet Patch a couple weeks ago that the 1,900-seat theater would be filled near capacity as ticket sales for Jefferies were strong.
