GoFundMe: 'Michael Moon Was Tragically Taken From Us'
There will be a void left in the hearts of all who loved him. Michael will be forever missed, his obituary said.
JOLIET, IL — Ashley Ruiz has established a GoFundMe to raise money to cover the funeral expenses for her 39-year-old brother Michael Moon, who was killed while driving his motorcycle on Joliet's east side Sunday evening.
"Michael was tragically taken from us by a drunk driver while cruising on his motorcycle," Wednesday's GoFundMe proclaimed.
The GoFundMe is called "Michael Alan Moon II" and its aim is to raise $2,000.

Within hours, a total of seven people have contributed a total of $680 toward Moon's funeral.
"Michael was a devoted father to his son, Cruz. We will use the funds to cover any outstanding funeral expenses and set up a fund for Cruz’s future educational expenses," the GoFundMe noted.
