Gunfire Strikes Joliet Woman, Teenage Girl
The shooting occurred early Saturday morning in Joliet.

JOLIET, IL - Readers of the Joliet Patch alerted us to an overnight shooting that left a teenage girl and another woman as victims of gunshot wounds. Joliet's chief of police Brian Benton told the Joliet Herald-News newspaper on Saturday that wounds to both women were not life-threatening. A 33-year-old woman got shot in her thigh and the teenage girl was grazed by the gunfire, the newspaper reported.
The shootings occurred at a house party in the 1200 block of Pawnee Street.
