Halloween Bank Robbery On Route 59: Joliet Police Reveal Suspect Info
The Route 59 bank robber fled the area after taking an undetermined amount of cash, according to Joliet police.

JOLIET, IL — A Joliet bank in the Plainfield area was robbed shortly before 5 p.m. on Halloween, Joliet police announced Monday night.
The robbery at the PNC Bank happened at 4:48 p.m. The bank is at 2402 Route 59.
According to Joliet police, a man entered the PNC Bank and passed the teller a note announcing a robbery. The bank robber then fled the area after taking an undetermined amount of cash.

Joliet police described the robber as possibly a Hispanic man, approximately 25 to 30 years old, with a beard. He wore a medical mask, glasses, black hat, black jacket and blue jeans. There were no injuries reported in this crime.
Officers remained on the scene until representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigations arrived and took over the investigation, Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English noted.

On Saturday, another Route 59 bank was robbed, the Heartland Bank & Trust Company in Plainfield.
