
Harold Lee Lockhart
Passed away at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center, Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Age 81 years.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Genevieve “Jean” C. Lockhart (nee Kozumplik). Three devoted sons James, Lance and Larry Lockhart and cherished daughter Pam Babcock. Six grandchildren Kaitlin (Van) Hager, Tim Roesel, Danny (Alex) Roesel, Justin Lockhart, Chesney (KaCee) Reeves and Cody Lockhart. Five great-grandchildren Noah, Andrew, Chase and Macy Roesel and Seraphina Hagar. His sister June Nelson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Harold Lloyd and Anne Lockhart, daughter Debbie Attaway and son Loren Lockhart. His brother Thomas Lockhart.

Lee was born July 8, 1941 in Joliet. He graduated from Joliet Township High School in the class of 1960. He furthered his education at Joliet Junior College and Lewis University. Lee honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. Upon returning home, Lee embarked on his career with the Joliet Fire Department, rising through the ranks and ultimately retiring as Deputy Chief in 1999. Lee’s passions extended beyond his professional life. He was an accomplished accordion player, bringing joy through his performances with the Too Loud Polka Band at the Croatian Cultural Club. Lee was a member of Grace United Methodist Church for many years and a 45 year member of the Masonic Lodge #175 A.F. & A.M.
Funeral services will be held at the Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory, 2320 Black Rd., Saturday, June 10th at 10:00 A.M. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park.
