Haymarket Opera brings Telemann's "Pimpinone" to University of St. Francis

As part of its Music at Moser Series, the University of St. Francis proudly presents Haymarket Opera’s performance of Telemann’s comic opera, “Pimpinone” on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 7:30p.m. This special performance in the San Damiano Hall at the University of St. Francis (603 Taylor Street, Joliet, IL).

Acclaimed for its sparkling, stylish performance of baroque opera, theater and dance, Haymarket Opera brings to Joliet dazzling singers, an accomplished chamber orchestra, and a playful baroque opera with supertitle translations. Jory Vinokour will open the program with C. P. E. Bach’s Harpsichord Concerto in D Minor. This program is partially funded by the National Endowment for the Arts.

The University of St. Francis proudly offers unique music and theater opportunities for fine-arts enthusiasts in Joliet and its surrounding communities through its Music at Moser Series.
