He Drove Drunk To CVS Pharmacy With 7-Year-old Child In Car: Police
Joliet police contacted the 7-year-old child's mother, who came to the CVS Pharmacy around 11:30 p.m. to retrieve her daughter.

JOLIET, IL - A 42-year-old Joliet man finds himself in the Will County jail after being arrested in connection with a most unusual DUI. Around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, an off-duty DuPage County Sheriff's deputy pulled into the CVS Pharmacy in the 800 block of Plainfield Road. There, the deputy noticed Paul T. Martin in the parking lot bothering people. Martin was accused of harassing multiple customers at the CVS, claiming he had nearly been run over by another motorist in the parking lot. Joliet police officers responded to the scene and immediately recognized that Martin "reeked of alcoholic beverages," police said.
Martin also had his 7-year-old daughter with him at the time. Martin, who lives in the 1500 block of Hosmer Street, told police that he had driven to the CVS Pharmacy. Later on, he failed field sobriety tests and was taken away in handcuffs, charged with DUI and also child endangerment. Police were able to contact the child's mother, who showed up around 11:30 p.m. to take her daughter home.
