'He Told Me He Did Not Want To Hurt Me But Wanted To Have Sex With Me'
A Joliet woman gave a chilling account of a sex offender allegedly raping her at knifepoint.

A knife-wielding sex offender broke into a Joliet woman’s apartment and raped her, police said.
Oscar Harris, 51, attacked the woman in her Western Avenue apartment June 8, police said. A criminal complaint charging Harris with aggravated criminal sexual assault, home invasion, criminal sexual assault and residential burglary was filed the following day, but he remains at large.
With Harris still on the loose, his alleged victim went to the courthouse for help and requested a protective order. In her petition for the order, she detailed the night Harris allegedly assaulted her.

“He was Oscar, a man who moved in with my neighbor,” the woman said. “He forced me to have oral sex with him. He told me he did not want to hurt me but wanted to have sex with me. He tried to rape me but a neighbor heard me scream and she was banging on my door, he then (went) out the front door. I called the police. They came, took my clothes and a sample of the inside of my mouth. He had left the screwdriver and his shirt and sandals. They are still looking for him.”
