Head-On Collision Causes 2 Drivers To Suffer Life-Threatening Injuries: Joliet Police
A total of four vehicles were involved in Wednesday night's wreck that happened when a Lockport motorist drove over the center line.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department indicated they have not yet determined why a 31-year-old Lockport motorist heading northbound along Broadway Street lost control of their car and crossed the center lines, striking three oncoming motorists on Wednesday night. Two of the four motorists are now fighting to stay alive, according to the police reports.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English's news release, at 6:51 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of North Broadway Street and Ingalls Avenue for a multi-vehicle crash with injuries. English explained that a Honda CR-V driven by a 31-year-old Lockport resident was northbound on North Broadway Street near Ingalls when the vehicle lost control and crossed into oncoming southbound traffic.
Police said the Honda CR-V struck a Honda HR-V driven by a 23-year-old Plainfield resident head-on, then continued to strike two additional southbound vehicles — a Ford Focus driven by a 17-year-old Addison resident and an Audi e-tron driven by a 66-year-old Naperville resident.
