JOLIET, IL — Joliet police detectives have obtained a warrant for the arrest of 26-year-old Laraysheo Johnson, who's already known around the Joliet police department after spending the entire winter in the Will County Jail facing felony aggravated domestic battery charges.

Last week, Joliet police obtained a new warrant to arrest Johnson, this time in connection with a home invasion that happened Sept. 4 inside an apartment unit in the 400 block of Grant Street, which is on the city's east side.

The complaint states that Johnson remained inside the dwelling and intentionally caused injury to a woman who resides there. Besides the Class X felony, Johnson is also being charged with theft because he obtained control over the woman's iPhone 12 Max, court documents show.
