JOLIET, IL — Hundreds of students who attend Joliet's Hufford Junior High School were placed on a soft lockdown Friday morning and Joliet police officers were notified of threats made by two of the students, according to Hufford assistant principal Shavon Pittman's memo.
"The students were immediately removed from the school and the Joliet Police Department was called. These types of actions will not be tolerated at our school," Pittman wrote.
