Jamie Stark GoFundMe: 'Jamie Will Be Missed By So Many'

JOLIET, IL — A close friend of Jamie Stark has organized a GoFundMe seeking to raise $15,000 to cover the funeral expenses for the 25-year-old Joliet woman who died early Monday morning during a crash along the southbound stretch of Interstate 55 in Joliet.

As of Tuesday morning, the Jamie Stark's Funeral Cost GoFundMe had raised $7,750 thanks to 66 donations.

"She was a great coworker and quickly became an even better friend," GoFundMe organizer Josh Grew wrote. "Unfortunately Jamie passed away in a car accident on her way home from work ... Let’s give her family one less thing to worry about before Christmas and let’s raise enough money for her funeral expenses. Jamie would do the same for any of us."

Grew notified Joliet Patch that any money collected over the expenses for her funeral will be given to her family for her children.
