JCA Alum Strikes Out on 'The Bachelorette'

A Joliet Catholic Academy alum struck out on the Monday night premiere of “The Bachelorette.”

Coley Knust, who works as a real estate consultant, tried to woo the potential love of his life using a corny one-liner.

"I'm hoping by the end of this that I will be the one that's able to take you off the market,” Knust told Bachelorette JoJo Fletcher.

Peter Medina, of Rockdale, also tried to win over the heart of Fletcher, but failed to secure himself a rose, according to the Chicago Tribune.

"It just sucks. No one likes to be sent home but I hope the best for her,” Medina said.
