JOLIET, IL — As the dangerous and highly contagious coronavirus continues to make people sick in the Joliet area, school officials at Joliet Catholic Academy have decided to switch back to a temporary remote learning format starting next week.

For most of the school year, Joliet Catholic has held regular classroom activities at its campus on Larkin Avenue four days a week with one day of remote learning through online activities.

Meanwhile, Joliet's two largest public school districts, Joliet District 86 and Joliet Township High School District 204 have remained on a remote learning curriculum since their respective school years began in late August.
