JD'S BBQ & Soul Food Replaces Taps Tips On Theodore St.
This marks the second restaurant location on Joliet's west side for JD's. Owner Rico Wilson is also at 221 Ruby St.
JOLIET, IL — After opening JD's BBQ & Soul Food at 221 Ruby Street last October, Rico Wilson has now added a second location on Joliet's west side.
Last week, JD's opened at 3111 Theodore St., replacing Taps Tips BBQ, which went out of business in January after being open for two years.
According to the menu posted on the front door along Theodore Street, JD's BBQ & Soul Food is open Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

After JD's announced its new location on Theodore Street, one of its Facebook followers asked, "Are you guys still on Ruby street?"
"Yes," JD's BBQ wrote back.
