Joe's Hot Dogs Opening This Week
Joe's Hot Dogs, a Joliet restaurant institution, has remained closed during the new coronavirus outbreak.

JOLIET, IL —Thousands of people around the Joliet area have been wondering when Joe's Hot Dogs on Plainfield Road would reopen after being temporarily closed the past seven weeks. On Monday, Joe's Hot Dogs announced it will be back in business starting Thursday, May 7.
"Joes will ONLY be taking orders from the convenience and safety of your vehicle," the restaurant announced on its Facebook page.

According to Joe's, its lobby area will remain off-limits to customers during the international health crisis.
Joe's new temporary hours will be 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
