Joliet Drug Dealer Also Had Guns, Digital Scales: Cops
Joliet Police Department's tactical unit raided Knox's house Tuesday night.

JOLIET, IL - The Joliet Police Department deployed its tactical unit to arrest a 29-year-old Joliet man last week on multiple criminal charges related to illegal drugs and guns. Alec Knox was taken into custody around 8:30 p.m. last Tuesday in the 300 block of St. Jude Avenue.
He now faces the following criminal charges:
- Unlawful use of a weapon by a felon
- Possession of a stolen gun
- Possession of ammunition by a felon
- Possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver
- Possession of a controlled Substance
- Possession of cannabis
- Possession of drug equipment.
According to authorities, Joliet Police sent their tactical unit into Knox's place during a drug raid around 8 p.m. last Tuesday, Nov. 20. Inside the house on St. Jude Avenue, Knox was also there.

"Officers located and detained Knox on the search warrant, and a valid complaint warrant for domestic battery. A search of the residence was conducted and officers located and seized clear plastic bags containing cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy tablets, suspected cannabis edibles, a stolen handgun, multiple rounds of handgun and rifle ammunition, cash, multiple rifle and handgun magazines, and a digital scale commonly used to weigh drugs," Joliet Police said. "Knox was arrested and taken to County Jail on the above offenses."
Knox was taken off to the Will County Jail where he remains incarcerated.
