Joliet Fentanyl Dealer Was Also Selling Something Else: Police
Joliet police say Deborah Stone, age 62, was located inside the apartment and was placed into custody without incident.

JOLIET, IL — A 62-year-old Joliet woman was arrested this week by Joliet police in connection with allegations that she's been involved in the sale of Fentanyl as well as marijuana.
Deborah Stone was taken away in handcuffs and booked into the Will County Adult Detention Facility on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, and delivery of cannabis.
Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said the arrest happened this way:

- Following an investigation conducted by the Joliet Police Department Narcotics Unit, Stone was identified as a suspect in the suspected delivery of narcotics.
- At 10:20 a.m. on Monday, officers did a search warrant on an apartment in the Joliet Housing Authority building at 400 North Bluff Street. Upon search of the apartment, Officers recovered suspected fentanyl as well as cannabis that appeared to be packaged for sale.
- Stone was inside the apartment and was placed into custody without incident.
Will County Jail logs show that Stone walked out of the detention building around 7 p.m. after posting 10 percent of her $25,000 bail.
