JOLIET, IL — For the second time this month, land on Plainfield Road that houses a commercial business is on the real estate market. The Firestone automotive service center is for sale. According to LoopNet, the property is available for $3.4 million. Don't worry, the Firestone shop is not about to close.

In fact, Firestone has a multi-year tenant lease at 2521 Plainfield Road that assures the prospective buyer that Firestone will remain at the Joliet location, not far from Interstate 55 and the Louis Joliet Mall area, through the end of 2023.

"The company operates the largest number of company-owned automotive retail stores in the world, with more than 2,200 consumer and commercial vehicle service and tire locations across the United States and Canada," according to the LoopNet property listing.
