Joliet High Schools Congratulate Students of the Month

Students of The Month, school officials said, are chosen for character, citizenship, dependability, maturity, and academic performance.

JOLIET, IL — Local high schools have decided on their list of December students of the month. Joliet Township High School Students of the Month must demonstrate character, citizenship, dependability and maturity, the selection announcement read. The final selection is then based on the student’s resume and academic performance.

Joliet Central High School Students of the Month for December are Melanie Patterson, Kiwanis Club; Jennifer Rodriguez, Rotary Club; Lily Bryson, Lions Club; Kimbria Stokes, NAACP; and Bria Holman, Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Joliet West High School Students of the Month for December are Hannah Eldred, Kiwanis Club; Brandon Tinoco, Rotary Club; Anna Polacek, Lions Club; Shamar Beauchamp-Weems, NAACP; and Arielle DeShazier, Alpha Kappa Alpha.
