Trouble In Double J Sports Bar Leads To Joliet Police Response, Arrest For Passed Out Patron: Cops
Joliet's police officers took the man into custody and Herrera Camacho was charged with aggravated battery.

JOLIET, IL — Every few months, late night trouble erupts either outside or inside the Double J Sports Bar on Essington Road, and when it does, Joliet police are often called to make an arrest of the source causing the trouble.
On Halloween, Joliet police said they said responded at approximately 12:57 a.m. to Double J Sports Bar at 1001 Essington Road for a report of a battery to a security guard. Upon arrival, officers located a man detained by security personnel in the parking lot. The man was identified as Cristian Herrera Camacho, age 31, of Chicago.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, the security personnel had escorted the man outside after finding him asleep inside the bar. Once outside, the man allegedly swung at a security guard, striking him in the face. Officers took the man into custody. Herrera Camacho was charged with aggravated battery. He was processed at the Joliet Police Department and released on a notice to appear in court.
