He was taken into custody by Joliet Police over the weekend.

JOLIET, IL - A 71-year-old man from Joliet's west side was taken into custody by Joliet Police on Saturday, charged with 14 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child and another eight counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. A Will County judge has ordered that William Dominiak, who lives in the 400 block of Kungs Way, to remain in the county jail without bail.

Dominiak's arrest was the result of a Joliet Police criminal investigation that got underway on Oct. 18. "Officers met with the complainant who stated the victim informed her that Dominiak had sexually abused her from the ages of 4-8," police reports state.

A Joliet detective later spoke with the Will County State’s Attorney’s Office and an arrest warrant for 14 counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child and eight counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse was issued for Dominiak, police said.
