Joliet Man Returns To Scene Of His Domestic Violence Crime: JPD
Joliet police found Thomas Sliepka, age 36, in the vehicle at the Marion Street address and he was placed into custody without incident.

JOLIET, IL —For the second year in a row, Joliet police have arrested Thomas Sliepka in connection with domestic violence charges, the latest incident happened late Wednesday night at Sliepka's apartment in the 400 block of West Marion Street, arrest reports show.
According to Joliet police, the 36-year-old Sliepka was spotted around 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, back at the scene of the crime, and that's when officers took him away in handcuffs, bringing him to the Will County Jail on charges of domestic battery.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, the following events unfolded around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday:

- Officers responded to an apartment in the 400 block of West Marion Street for a domestic disturbance. The police learned that during an argument, Sliepka punched a woman in the head and body, causing her to fall to the ground.
- Following the attack, Sliepka left and drove off in his car.
- At approximately 4:30 a.m., Joliet police spotted Sliepka inside the vehicle at the Marion Street address and he was placed into custody without incident.
