Joliet Police Investigating Home Invasion

At least two unknown suspects entered a home in the 1800 block of Castle Ridge Drive on Joliet’s far west side early Monday, battering one of the residents and stealing cash, police said.

Cmdr. Al Roechner said three people were at home when the incident occurred at around 4 a.m.

One of the residents was battered by the suspects, who got away with an unknown amount of cash, according to police. The victim refused medical treatment, police said.

Roechner said police did not have descriptions of the suspects late Monday morning. The incident remains under investigation, he said.
