Joliet Pottery Barn Outlet's Grand Opening Almost Here

JOLIET, IL — On Oct. 29, Joliet Patch reported that the former Gander Mountain store, empty since 2017, was being filled with a Pottery Barn Outlet store. Thousands of readers were thrilled by the news.

Now, the wait is over. At 9:30 a.m. Friday, the Joliet Chamber of Commerce and Industry will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the store's grand opening. People are encouraged to attend the event.

"We are so excited to celebrate the grand opening and ribbon cutting on this Friday, November 22 at 9:30 a.m.," Joliet's Chamber posted on Facebook.

The address for the new Pottery Barn Outlet is 3301 Essington Road. The business is near the Route 30 exit for Interstate 55. It's also close to the Louis Joliet Mall.
