Joliet PrideFest Less Than 2 Weeks Away
The event takes place at Joliet's Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park, 201 West Jefferson St.

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet PrideFest will be taking place on the last Saturday of this month at the Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park, 201 West Jefferson St. The outdoor event is from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25.
Miguel Rockstar Garza will be on the main stage starting at noon. The Great Frankini will follow at 1:15 p.m. There will be proclamations read at 2 p.m. followed by the Broadway Bebes at 2:15 p.m.
Cheryl Rodey, a Joliet native with a big following, will be under or near the pavilion from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. singing.

At 3:15 p.m. there will be karaoyke and at 4 p.m. there will be the drag queens and kings finale. Dee J Christa will be at the main stage from noon to 5:30 p.m.
According to an event flyer, the Scales and Tales traveling zoo will be at the event from noon to 4 p.m. Scales and Tales will feature Xena the sloth, Fiona the armadillo, Buo the barn owl, Charlotte the Tarantula, Sonic the Hedgehog, Elliot the giant tortoise, Julius Squeezer the Burmese python and more.

The kids zone will be open from noon to 4 p.m. and will include inflatables and a touch a truck area.
The Joliet Pridefest Performers will include: Ebony Delite-Samore, Zamora Love, Dolce Vita, Iris Lovelle, Lola Von Sweets, Keri Traid, Kaydon Battles and Sebastian.
