Joliet Public Schools District 86 School Board Members Honored

Congratulations to Joliet Public Schools District 86 Board of School Inspectors Anthony Contos, Erick Deshaun Dorris, and Gwendolyn Ulmer who have been recognized by the llinois Association of School Boards (IASB) for their leadership and service to the public education community.

Gwendolyn Ulmer received recognition for maintaining Master Board Member status while Anthony Contos and Erick Deshaun Dorris were acknowledged for reaching Master Board Member, Level 1 status. Master Board Member status is earned by attending IASB division meetings, governing meetings, legislative leadership programs, as well as holding positions of
leadership within the Association.

Gwendolyn has served on the Joliet Public Schools District 86 Board of School Inspectors since 2011. Anthony was elected to the District 86 school board in 2013 and currently serves as vice president. Erick has served on the school board since 2017.
