The Hate u Give was a popular JTHS Summer Reading selection last school year. We invite your student –– along with their friends –– to join in this groundbreaking discussion that will focus on the Black Lives Matter Movement and on the activist power of literature. Your student will hear Angie’s take on the current unrest, and her thoughts on moving forward. And most importantly, Angie will share her advice for young authors –– and how they can change the world with their writing.
Click here (decameronproject.org/angie-thomas-event) and scroll down to RSVP and confirm your spot. While we expect that everyone will be able to attend, you must RSVP to guarantee your spot, and you will also have your question to Angie answered first in the Q&A.

This opportunity is provided your student through The Decameron Project.

Warmly,
Lucas Gimbel
Founder, The Decameron Project
