Joliet Students Showcase Art at Joliet Junior College

Works of art created by local high school students including paintings, photography, sculptures and more will be on display through Dec. 11 at the Laura A. Sprague Gallery on Joliet Junior College’s Main Campus, located at 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.

The High School Art Exhibition will be open for public viewing during regular gallery hours when the college is open, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. High school instructors from the 22 participating schools selected the 102 works of art currently on display.

JJC’s Area High School Exhibition is an annual show put on each year to encourage and positively impact young artists to continue developing their talents.
