Teen, 14, Found Dead On Joliet's Frontage Road: 'No Indications Of Foul Play'

JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department has released the following statement in response to Monday morning's discovery of a body on the far west side, near Caton Farm Road.
Police said that officers responded to the area of Frontage Road and Woodhill Court for an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, they located a 14-year-old boy with what appeared to be a self-inflicted fatal injury. A gun was recovered at the scene, and there were no indications of foul play. The Will County Coroner’s Office responded and pronounced the victim deceased.
