JOLIET, IL — The Joliet Police Department on Sunday announced that they have solved the recent disappearance of Kayla Luce, who has been missing for the past two weeks.

Kayla Luce has been safely located. Thank you for your assistance, authorities announced. Persons familiar with her disappearance said she found in Peoria.

On Friday, Joliet police said that Kayla disappeared from the 0 to 100 block of Reed Street. Kayla is 17, stands 5-foot-3 and weighs 120 lbs. She has brown hair and hazel eyes and was last seen wearing her gray jacket, blue jeans and carrying a black backpack.
