Joliet Woman Hit by Jeep While Walking in Naperville

She was taken to Edward Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.

NAPERVILLE, IL — A 37-year-old Joliet woman was struck by a Jeep Tuesday while walking in Naperville.

Naperville Police Cmdr. Jason Arres said the Joliet woman was walking westbound on the parkway of Warrenville Road at around 6:58 a.m. when a 17-year-old St. Charles girl lost control of her white Jeep Grand Cherokee, left the roadway and struck the woman. The teen was traveling eastbound on Warrenville Road at the time. Police are still investigating the crash and no citations have been issued at this point.

The Joliet woman was transported to Edward Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries.
